There is one additional LTC outbreak for a total of 22 LTC outbreaks, with 176 of the COVID-19 cases from these facilities.
Recent outbreaks at LTC sites have been identified with a single staff member or resident testing positive due to active surveillance teams at VCH and FH.
Three of the four new deaths announced today are related to either the Haro Park or Lynn Valley outbreaks.
Between March 17 and April 2, 11276 surgeries have been cancelled across the province.
BC Ferries announced major reductions in its schedule today, including cancellation of the Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo route.
