Situation Update
  • Of the total cases in B.C, 210 are linked to outbreaks in long-term care homes. Three of those outbreaks have been declared over, meaning no new cases over two successive incubation periods.
  • There is a third outbreak in a federal correctional facility.
  • Read the latest provincial statement here.
  • Applications for the Canada emergency response benefit (CERB) opened today. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said there will be adjustments to the program to include those who don’t qualify, such as students and people working reduced hours. Watch his daily update here.

CST Cerner users can now access remote at-the-elbow support, until further notice, to ensure they get the help they need during the COVID-19 crisis.

St. Paul’s Foundation created its COVID-19 Response Fund specifically to support PHC health care teams, patients, and residents during this pandemic.

The COVID-19 Ethical Decision-Making Framework, and underlying principles and values, provides an interim process to support healthcare organizations and teams to make challenging decisions in a COVID-19 outbreak.
