TEMPORARY STAFF ACCOMMODATION (TSA)

We are pleased to offer some supports for staff directly engaged in the COVID response. If you fall in to one of the following categories, you are eligible to apply for temporary staff accommodations:

  • Currently working in active COVID patient care (including but not limited to: clinical nurses, medical staff, allied professionals, and contract services such as housekeeping);
  •  Not working in patient care but have been assigned a key COVID response role, and may not have safe time to commute back and forth to work on a daily basis

 

If you do not fall into one of the TSA categories listed above but would still like access to temporary accommodation, we are working on a list of partner hotels and apartments that you can access at a significantly discounted rate.  Details will be posted on this option in the next few days on the PHC COVID website.

All enquiries related to Paid and/or Self-Paid Temporary Staff Accommodation can be directed to PHC_CVD_TEMPSTAFFACCOMS@providencehealth.bc.ca.  We will continue to roll out details and more information this week.

This applies to all staff and medical staff working at all of our sites, including MSJ and Long Term Care. 

If you would like to access temporary staff accommodations, please complete the application form and submit it to PHC_CVD_TEMPSTAFFACCOMS@providencehealth.bc.ca.

Self-Paid Temporary Staff Accommodation
