What you need to know about COVID-19

Prevention: Wash your hands, cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and stay home when you're sick.

Symptoms: Reported signs and symptoms include: fever, coughing, and/or difficulty breathing. If you think you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 you can try this quick, online self-assessment tool: https://covid19.thrive.health/

Experiencing symptoms: If you think you have symptoms of COVID-19 (for example, dry cough or fever), please stay home, and self-isolate for 14 days. COVID-19 presents as a mild illness in the majority of patients; testing is not recommended for those who have mild respiratory symptoms. If respiratory symptoms worsen, please call 811 or your health care provider.

Travelling outside of Canada: An official global travel advisory is in effect. Avoid non-essential travel outside Canada until further notice. Visit the Government of Canada's website for the latest travel advisory updates.
