By health authority, today’s case count: 767 VCH, 772 FH, 114 Island Health, 158 Interior Health, 42 Northern Health.
An additional four deaths were reported today in the VCH and FH regions.
No new outbreaks in LTC, assisted living or acute care sites in the last day. Currently, 20 facilities and three acute-care units have active outbreaks.
Superior Poultry in Coquitlam has two confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 35 employees at United Poultry in Vancouver are confirmed positive.
Kearl Lake project cases are now at 10.
Mission Institution has 78 cases.
- The federal government announced it will be lowering rent by 75 per cent for small and medium sized businesses that have been strongly impacted by COVID-19 in April, May and June across Canada as part of the Canada Rent Assistance program. Read the full news release here.
