There are no new outbreaks at LTC, assisted care or acute sites. Currently, there are 23 active outbreaks: 266 residents/patients and 168 staff.
Community outbreaks continue to see increased cases. Superior Poultry - 54 cases, United Poultry - 35 cases, Specialty Poultry - 7 cases. Mission Institution - 134 cases. Kearl Lake - 15 cases.
There are currently 77 people hospitalized across the province, with 20 patients in critical care.
There were an additional three deaths (since the last reporting day Saturday, May 2), for a total of 117 deaths.
1417 in B.C. have now fully recovered from COVID-19.

Premier John Horgan will be joining Dr. Henry and Minister Dix on Wednesday at 3pm to outline the initial plan for reopening the economy.
- The federal government has announced a $175.6 million investment in Vancouver biotechnology company AbCellera to discover solutions for COVID-19 and build a manufacturing facility for antibody drugs. Read the news release.
