Today’s updated COVID-19 numbers includes three reporting periods: Friday to Saturday, 68 new cases; Saturday to Sunday, 125 new cases; Sunday to today; 74 cases.
Total new cases since Friday: 267 cases, with 10 epi-linked cases.
Total cases in B.C. - 8908
This includes 3226 in VCH, 4555 in Fraser Health, 206 in Island Health, 531 in Interior Health, 303 in Northern Health, and 87 people who normally reside outside Canada.
There are now 1302 active cases in the province. 69 people are in the hospital, with 22 in critical care/ICU.
Three new deaths over the past weekend, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 233.
There are 3372 people under active public health monitoring. 7346 people have now recovered.
Three new health care outbreaks, including one at HFH neighbourhoods 1 and 2 with one staff member testing positive.
There are currently 16 active outbreaks.
One new community outbreak at a church in Kelowna with five cases.
All health authorities are now consistently posting school exposures and outbreaks.
