DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION (DEI): SESSION #3 – ANTI-RACISM AT THE PROCEDURAL AND PROCESS LEVEL
The third session in our DEI Listening and Learning series in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is on Wednesday, October 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Next week’s session will examine the DEI frameworks and strategies that can be implemented with the help of leaders to improve inclusivity for all employees. Dr. Vishal Varshney, Physician Lead for our People pillar in our Mission Forward Strategic Plan and Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Physician at Providence will represent PHC on the panel that will discuss, define and hear stories about experiences with procedural and process level racism faced within PHC and VCH, and what can be done to address racism at a procedural and process level at both health organizations.
If you have missed any of the past sessions, you can access them using this link – this is the same link in your calendar invite. As a reminder, there is no registration required to attend the series.
Thank you for your continued engagement and we hope you will join us for the next session on October 21!
