FINDING NEMO AT YOUVILLE RESIDENCE
Submitted by Karen Leon, Program Admin Assistant, Elder Care
It’s no secret that fish tanks have a measurable positive impact on health; such as reducing stress and anxiety, improving focus and creativity, and soothing of the mind.
Our grand tank is located on Marguerite Place and two large colourful goldfish with flowing tails with two smaller algae eaters have moved in.
Bringing life into the neighbourhood, the activity has made every resident fascinated with the movements of the fish, water that flows, and bubbles that float.
It has given the residents meaning and purpose on a daily basis. Sometimes laughing, smiling, watching, or chatting to them.
We look forward to Nemo’s friend Dory moving into Heather Place with her helpers next month.
