JACK’S SONG: ST. JOHN HOSPICE RESIDENT WRITES ODE TO VANCOUVER
Jack Roche, a 91-year-old resident at St. John Hospice, is proof you’re never too old to try new things. He’s just composed his first song about his beloved Vancouver. Josh Denny-Keys, music therapist with Providence, set the lyrics to music and recorded the song. The project energized Jack and busts a myth around hospice and palliative care: hospice doesn’t always mean the end – it can mean the start of the final chapter. View the coverage below and listen to the song.
