Submitted on behalf of Grant McCullough, Executive Director, Professional Practice & Nursing, Clinical Informatics and Candy Garossino, Director, Professional Practice & Nursing.

As part of the BC Allied Health Provincial Consultation process, the Ministry of Health is surveying all allied health professionals in BC, including frontline and management in public and private sectors, for insight into seven key areas of focus:

  1.  Identity and recognition
  2. Workforce and practice optimization
  3. Leadership
  4. Education and training
  5. Recruitment
  6. Retention
  7. Partnerships and collaboration

Please click here to begin the survey.

Survey closes Tuesday, July 13.

We encourage all PHC allied health staff to take the survey and provide your valuable insight into the current state of allied health in BC, from the perspective of allied health professionals, related to the seven core themes.

A report based on the data collected will be developed and shared with key stakeholders later this summer/early fall, and will inform the Ministry’s three-year strategic plan for the Allied Health Policy Secretariat.

Thank you for your collaboration and continued efforts in supporting the health and wellness of British Columbians. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Allied Health Policy Secretariat at Allied.Health@gov.bc.ca.
